Great Idea! Only small improvements to be made!

This is a GREAT, fully functional app, that Im loving right now. It just has a few small hiccups that dont mean much, but Id like to see fixed.
1. Fog with google maps is slow.. Any time you Zoom in and out, it is choppy, but the built in maps are great!
2. The description says it runs in the background, but in my experience it does not... Maybe Im doing something wrong, but it doesnt record in the background

Great app idea.
I hope the creators are making money on this somehow!
